Overview

Job Summary:

The non-CDL Driver will efficiently stock their 26' box truck and safely deliver products to our field tower crews in a timely and professional manner. Candidates will be driving and delivering items for our construction crews in the Columbus, OH area. Additionally, candidates will be cross-trained in the warehouse for general warehouse duties when not delivering.

What Will You Do

• Operate a 26’ ft box truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transport loads safely and promptly, obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maneuver truck into loading and unloading areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unload empty skids and return all equipment to designated areas.
• Perform monthly vehicle inspection reports (VIR).
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the truck.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and others on the job site.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to pass a DOT Physical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving 26' box trucks; warehouse experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with forklift, order picker, and hand trucks.
• Dependability, punctuality, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; professional and courteous communication.
• Ability to use GPS effectively.
• Ability to pass background and drug tests as required by transportation regulations.
• Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
