Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate vendors, trade partners, inspectors and others for the construction of new homes in order to maintain scheduled baselines.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite/work environment.
- Maintain all required Best Management Practices for each home/community under supervision.
- Assist in permitting individual jobs as needed.
- Review and approve purchase orders for work performed and materials ordered.
- Communicate at least once per week via telephone with each customer with our sales agent present.
- Oversee completion of Verification of Completion List.
- Meet with customers on site for walk‑throughs and other meetings when necessary.
- Participate in weekly team meetings.
- Assist in recruiting trade partners.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
- Adhere to and enforce OSHA requirements on the job site.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED; construction coursework or trade training preferred.
- 1‑2+ years overseeing homes from foundation to closing; relative experience may be applicable in combination with building experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to work independently and with teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Calm, professional under conflict, inspections, or homeowner concerns; ability to think through responses.
- Proactive problem‑solving and improvement mindset.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, strong follow‑up and follow‑through.
- Ability to prioritize and self‑motivate.
Skills
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Great attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills.
- Quick to learn new software and systems; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
- Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Equally successful working independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work in non‑temperature‑controlled environments.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate via phone, email, and in person, exchange accurate information.
- Work primarily involves standing and walking.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel to other divisional locations.
