Job summary

Bethel University in Saint Paul, MN seeks part-time Student Academic Mentors to help BUILD program students stay on track with elective courses and meet academic expectations. Mentors will host weekly study groups, check-ins, and monitor attendance progress, reporting via daily forms. Evening or flexible hours support is possible for a 4-7 hour weekly schedule.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and will help students develop effective study habits and plan.

Qualifications

• Applicants do not need to know American Sign Language in advance.
• Support students in the BUILD program to manage elective classes and consult with professors as needed.
• Host weekly study groups to support access and progress through course content.

Responsibilities

• Support students in BUILD to manage elective classes and consult with course professors as needed.
• Host a weekly study group for each elective class to help students access content and meet course requirements; weekly check-ins for off-class students.
• Complete daily Google form to track attendance and progress.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
