Quickparts is hiring an Intermediate Build Setup Coordinator to drive effective scheduling and preparatory operations for our SLA and SLS machines. This role is central to ensuring smooth, on-time build setups — coordinating job placements, managing customer communications, and applying technical expertise to optimize manufacturing workflows across our operation.

Our build setup function is essential to on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing efficiency. As Intermediate Build Setup Technician, you will:

Coordinate and schedule machine availability for current builds

Group jobs strategically to meet shipping timelines

Optimize part orientation for successful build outcomes

Communicate directly with customers to resolve file and build issues

Maintain accurate, up-to-date job records

Uphold build quality standards in partnership with leadership

What You'll Do

Build Scheduling & Preparation

• Locate available machines to accommodate current builds
• Strategically group jobs with similar due dates to ensure timely shipping
• Orient parts effectively for optimal build setup outcomes
• Create supports for builds and perform slicing operations

Communication & Coordination

• Receive and schedule jobs efficiently
• Proactively communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve file or build issues
• Accurately enter and update critical job-related information in Excel spreadsheets

Process & Quality Enhancement

• Collaborate closely with the Manager, SLA/SLS to maintain build quality standards
• Follow detailed procedural steps that support efficient production and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years' experience in a similar technical or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in computer operations and Microsoft Office; familiarity with 3D CAD is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer support and maintain exemplary attendance
