What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct home assessments to identify necessary repairs and develop work scopes, cost estimates, and construction schedules
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction on assigned home repair projects
- Track project progress and budget-to-actuals using a SQL database
- Ensure site-safety compliance and manage required documentation for project compliance
- Maintain positive relationships with staff, homeowners, vendors, and volunteers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in residential home construction and supervision, including field and supervisory roles
- Proven ability to build work scopes, budgets, and schedules using project management tools
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to perform home evaluations and navigate active construction sites
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with energy efficiency best practices and house-as-a-system philosophy
- Fluency in basic Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Willingness to gain necessary certifications in safety/first aid, OSHA 30, EPA RRP, and BPI Energy Analyst
- Professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
