Job summary

Oaklawn Jockey Club in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Bugler Busser to support dining venues by clearing, cleaning and maintaining tables and assisting guests with refills and requests.

You will join a team focused on Four Diamond & Four-Star service, meeting deadlines and adapting to venue needs across the property. Prior food service and guest service experience is preferred; must be 21+ and able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist venue wait staff with clearing and cleaning tables and maintaining the venue environment.

• Carry food, dishes, and silverware between kitchens and serving counters.
• Stock supplies and replenish items at steam tables and service bars.
• Maintain and reset tables and equipment; ensure adherence to service standards.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Bugler Busser. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Bugler Busser assists the venue wait staff with clearing, cleaning and maintaining tables and venue environment in a timely and thorough manner. May also assists guests with drink and water refills, condiments, napkins and other requests. Always presents a friendly and professional image at the Hotel/Casino. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: Provide excellent guest service. Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash. Carry food, dishes, trays, and silverware from kitchens and supply departments to serving counters. Carry trays from tables and booths with soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware to kitchen and dishwasher. Fill beverage and ice dispensers. Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays. Replenish supplies of food and equipment at steam tables and service bars. Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning. Stocks all areas of the venue. Cleans, resets and maintains tables. Maintains all equipment. Assures F&B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations. Remains up-to-date on property events and hours of operation May be assigned to various venues throughout the property depending on business needs. Cooperates and communicates with all fellow team members, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude. Makes efforts to keep informed of company information and communications by participating in department meetings, huddles and reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter. Assists other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department.
