Job summary

Mint Cannabis in St. Peters, MO seeks a Budtender to deliver exceptional service, educate guests, and guide cannabis purchases with confidence and compliance.

You will contribute to a fast-paced, welcoming store environment while supporting daily operations and staying current with state regulations and promotions. 21+ and ability to obtain a Facility Agent Card required. $15+/hr plus tips and $3/hr overnight differential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to compliance protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency (POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite).
• Knowledge of cannabis products, brands, and consumption methods preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Facility Agent Card (or equivalent) per state requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, verify credentials, and record allotment details in the POS system.
• Provide product education and personalized recommendations based on patient needs.
• Process orders and payments with accuracy, professionalism, and compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
• Operate and reconcile cash tills; ensure accurate daily deposits.
• Support cross-functional departments (administration, packaging, etc.) when needed.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge, state regulations, and company promotions.
• Assist management in daily operations and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.

Location: St. Peters, MO

Pay Range: $15.00/hr + tips (no tip share!) + $3/hr overnight shift differential

The Budtender is the face of Mint Cannabis — delivering exceptional service, education, and positive energy to every guest. You’ll guide patients and customers through their cannabis journey with care, confidence, and compliance while helping maintain the smooth daily flow of retail operations. Physical Requirements

• PPE or additional safety measures may be required per state regulations.
