Job summary

High Plainz Strains is opening a new dispensary in Peetz, Colorado, seeking full-time Budtenders to help shape daily operations and customer experiences. You will learn products and systems while delivering reliable service in a small-town setting.

Base wage starts at $15.16/hour with tips. Schedule typically 30–40 hours per week across 4–5 shifts, with store hours roughly 9:00 AM–8:50 PM, seven days a week. Cannabis compliance training provided.

Qualifications

• Cannabis industry experience helpful but not required.
• Retail, restaurant, grocery, or other customer-facing work translates well to this role.
• We can teach cannabis product knowledge; reliability and learning are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine their needs.
• Ask questions to understand customer intent.
• Explain cannabis products and categories clearly.
• Help customers compare products and make informed choices.
• Learn our flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, edibles, vapes and topicals.
• Familiarize with brands and store products and promotions.
• Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash responsibly.
• Process online and pickup orders and restock shelves.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and follow procedures.
