The Budtender / Inventory Associate assists customers with cannabis purchases while ensuring accurate product handling, compliance with New Jersey cannabis regulations, and proper inventory control. This role combines retail sales expertise with operational support for product management.

Customer Service

• Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable cannabis product guidance
• Educate customers on strains, product types, potency, and effects
• Make product recommendations based on customer preferences
• Process transactions using the POS system

Inventory Operations

• Receive and organize product deliveries
• Assist with inventory counts and audits
• Label and store products in accordance with NJ CRC regulations
• Ensure proper product rotation and storage

Compliance

• Verify customer IDs and age requirements
• Ensure compliance with NJ cannabis purchase limits
• Follow METRC tracking requirements
• Maintain accurate transaction records

Store Operations

• Maintain product displays and merchandising
• Keep sales floor clean and organized
• Assist with order fulfillment for online and delivery orders

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Inventory experience preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
