Job summary

Reverie 73 in Gloucester, MA seeks a Budtender to welcome customers, provide informed cannabis product guidance, and ensure a safe, compliant shopping experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will handle POS transactions, verify selections, and educate guests on dosage and responsible use while maintaining clean premises. The role requires 21+, ability to pass background checks, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced, client-service intensive industry.
• Previous dispensary experience helpful.
• Bilingual or multilingual a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the customer experience, focusing on creating safe, welcoming, positive, and compliant customer visits.
• Perform transactions through the POS system accurately and efficiently; verify selection and quantity of customer purchases and ensure compliance with legal purchase limits.
• Partner with Compliance personnel to ensure retail transactions are carried out in compliance with CMR 500.105 and 500.140.
• Adhere to all state, regulatory, and dispensary requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Follow all cash, non-cash, and product asset protection guidelines and report any issues immediately.
• Maintain an advanced understanding of all products and educate guests regarding dosage, administration methods, safe, and responsible use.
• Maintain a sanitary, clean, and safe store environment.
• Assist as needed in the fulfillment and inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with training new employees.
• Ensure responsible product consumption and service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
• Complete a 4-hour responsible vendor training and 4 hours annually of job-specific training
