Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking a Budtender to greet patients and help them select cannabis products that meet their needs and budgets.

You will advise on products, stay current with new cannabis offerings, and process payments through the dispensary POS system while maintaining a clean, compliant store environment. The role requires strong communication, organization, and customer service skills, with adherence to state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience as a Budtender preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain state credentials.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming experience.
• Advise patients on cannabis products based on needs, preferences, budgets and reactions to strains.
• Stay informed about new products and industry trends.
• Process payments using the POS system.
• Keep the store clean and well-organized.
• Educate patients on safe use of products.
• Weigh, package and label cannabis products per regulations.
• Verify customer's age and credentials as required.
• Assist with inventory and ensure shelves are stocked.
• Complete opening and closing tasks and maintain compliance with policies.
