Job summary

The Superior Court of California, County of Alameda is seeking an Associate Fiscal Analyst to provide budget, grant administration, and general finance support within the Finance Division. Under supervision, you will assist in budget development, data analysis, and reporting to guide executive decisions.

You will monitor contracts and expenditures, prepare financial reports, and help implement financial policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Two years of full-time professional experience in administrative, systems or operational analysis.
• Education substitution allowed on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and administration of division or departmental budgets and grants.
• Compile, cleanse, analyze, and format data for budgetary reports.
• Monitor contracts, purchase orders, and payments; forecast expenses.
• Coordinate all activities associated with grants and contracts and monitor expenditures.
• Develop and revise financial policies and procedures; train staff.
• Work with Court Program Managers and external funding agencies on financial recommendations.
