Job summary

A higher education institution in Athens, Georgia is seeking a Fiscal Specialist to support financial operations and budgeting processes. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of professional experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability in financial systems and UGA funds.

Responsibilities

• Track financial transactions and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Advise VPAA staff regarding financials, budgeting, and purchasing.
• Manage payroll submission and approvals timely.

Skills

Familiarity with higher education institution operations

Extensive knowledge of UGA, UGAF and USG policies and procedures

Demonstrated ability in PeopleSoft Financials, One USG Connect, Anaplan and FAME

Strong leadership skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
