Georgia Tech is seeking a Financial Administrator (School of Mathematics) to oversee financial operations, budgeting, and reporting within the department. The role will ensure adherence to Institute guidelines and contribute to the development of unit budgets and accounting controls.

Responsibilities include preparing financial data for proposals and grants, coordinating student accounting with Financial Aid and Registrar, and monitoring budgets for compliance with grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Higher Education and in grants administration (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles within a university setting.

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial data related to proposals, grants and contracts, general appropriations, endowments and other funds.
• Oversee student accounting functions; coordinate with Financial Aid and Registrar's Office to resolve student payment issues; handle invoicing and payment issues for Continuing Education credits.
• Monitor unit budgets for overdrafts and ensure compliance with budget regulations and grant requirements.
