Job summary

Washington Technology Solutions is seeking a WCSM Budget Director (Budget Analyst 4) to oversee budgeting, accounting, business analysis, and fiscal reporting for the Workers' Compensation Systems Modernization Program. This role partners with executive sponsors and program leadership to ensure financial transparency and accountability.

The position requires extensive public sector budgeting experience, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency with AFRS, Workday, ERP reporting, or Apptio.

Qualifications

• Nine years of professional experience in budget development, execution and report development.
• Four years of professional experience in public sector budgeting and accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, charts, and formulas such as Vlookup and SumIf.
• Experience with Washington state budget processes and appropriations cycle.
• Experience budgeting for large technology implementation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, accounting, business analysis, and fiscal reporting for the program.
• Compile financial reports and analyze spending variances.
• Develop monthly and quarterly financial reports and present results to program leadership.
