The Budget and Program Analyst will support the Delaware Health Care Commission and the Diamond State Hospital Cost Review Board as it measures hospital cost growth against Delaware's health care spending benchmark and oversees the state's standardized hospital financial assistance requirement. In this role, the Budget and Program Analyst will review hospital financial statements to determine whether Delaware's hospitals are meeting state health care spending benchmarks. The Budget and Program Analyst will build financial models, prepare the reports that inform Board decisions, draft rules and regulations, and develop data-driven policy recommendations on hospital cost oversight and compliance with statewide requirements for hospital financial assistance.
