The position involves preparing financial summaries, reports for Deans and Directors, and maintaining alignment with university policies. Collaboration with other budget staff and internal stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Combination - Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field; substitution year-for-year allowed.
• General knowledge of budgeting principles, concepts, and processes.
• Ability to learn financial systems.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting initiatives and processes for SGSB and College Centers/Institutes.
• Collect financial information from systemwide and campus sources.
• Perform basic analysis of budget requests, revenues, and costs.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts for SGSB, Centers, and Institutes.
• Prepare budget summaries and financial analyses for leaders.
• Coordinate with Budget Analyst II and provide stakeholder service.
