Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of related job experience.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and budgeting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews weekly financial reports for designated areas to ensure budget accuracy and processes necessary journal entries.
  • Communicates with staff regarding monthly actual versus budget variances.
  • Processes payroll reallocations and resolves queries or inconsistencies with departments.
  • Reviews and approves HR forms, calculating and processing related budget entries.
  • Manages the university's suspense cost center and annual inactivation processes.
