Gambling Commission Career Opportunity
The Gambling Commission’s Business and Financial Services (BFS) team is looking for someone to fill a one-year non-permanent, Budget Analyst 3.
This is a part-time positionthat will work 20 hours per week. It reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is located at our Headquarters in Lacey, Washington. A flexible work schedule and/or telework will be considered at the incumbent’s request, subject to supervisory approval.
Leading the budget and allotment processes, this position is responsible for the development of the agency budget, preparing revenue projections, monitoring expenditures against allotments and providing regular updates to agency leaders.
BFS provides support for agency priorities through quality financial and operational management including budgeting, contracting, grant management, fiscal monitoring, purchasing, and accounting services. Additionally, BFS is responsible for ensuring financial compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
