MIRACORP is seeking a Budget Analyst to develop, monitor, and analyze budgets in support of the Department of State's Passport Services initiatives. The role includes preparing reports, performing variance analysis, and presenting insights to senior management. A U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a federal background check and a SECRET clearance is required.

The position supports federal contracting efforts and requires meticulous financial oversight and reporting to ensure program success.

In this role, you will develop and monitor departmental and project budgets, analyze financial performance, and prepare information that supports management decisions. This position is in support of Department of State, Directorate of Passport Services.*This position is contingent upon contract award*Essential FunctionsDevelop, monitor, and maintain budgets for departments and projects in alignment with organizational goals.Follow Quality Management System practices to support financial accuracy and accountability.Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and forecasting.Identify financial trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations.Prepare and present detailed budget reports to senior management.Highlight key financial metrics and performance indicators in budget reporting.QualificationsU.S. citizenship is required.Ability to pass a federal background check.Must possess a SECRET personnel security clearance.Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience; or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.Budget development and monitoring.Financial analysis and forecasting.Variance analysis.Accuracy.Written reporting and presentation.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience with the U.S. Department of State is preferred.
