Responsibilities

  • Support budget management, SWAs, and contract costs.
  • Prepare and submit budget items (SWA status, G514s).
  • Ensure invoices are accurate and paid on time; support FPS operations.
  • Audit and analyze active contracts and PSO training records.
  • Develop a tracking tool for PSO contract burn rates and funds.
  • Create requisitions (G-514s) and provide acquisition support.
  • Estimate demand for temporary and emergency guard services.
  • Maintain contract files and reconcile SWA data.
  • Assist with contract closeouts.

ASRC Federal NetCentric is looking Budget Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Services Administrative and Program Support Services.

Employment contingent upon DHS suitability clearance.

Work Location: Hybrid, Washington DC

Responsibilities:
  • Support budget management, annual contracts costs, recurring Security Work Authorizations (SWAs), and non-recurring SWAs.
  • Prepare and submit various budgetary items to include status of SWAs, G514s, etc.
  • Support the Regional FPS Business Operations Manager and Zonal COR with ensuring invoices are accurate and paid on time.
  • Supporting the audit and analysis of active contracts and task orders and Protective Security Officer (PSO) training records.
  • Developing a Tracking Tool to monitor PSO contract burn rates, available funds and stakeholder deliverables to insure proper contracts oversight.
  • Create requisitions (G-514s).
  • Providing acquisition and analytical support to the PSO and TCM Program.
  • Provide estimates on demand for temporary and emergency guard service requests for the guard contracts.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate contract files of assigned contracts.
  • Analyzing SWA billing accuracy under federal direction.
  • Researching and reconciling any outstanding SWA issues.
  • Reconciling financial system(s) and contract writing system(s) data.
  • Assist with contract closeouts.
Required Experience:
  • 2 years related experience with the following:
    • Federal Contracting
    • Financial background
    • G-Invoicing
  • Proficiency in Excel
    • Ability to write basic formulas, use Vlookup, MATCH, and create pivot tables
    • Technical interview will be required to validate Excel skills for this position.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree
