Job summary

United States Space Force is seeking a resources advisor/budget analyst to manage the formulation, execution, and analysis of the organization's budget and funding needs.

In this role, you will serve as a functional point of contact for budget issues, prepare budget estimates and financial plans, and monitor obligations and expenditures using automated systems. A Secret clearance is required and telework is eligible.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a resources advisor/budget analyst performing day-to-day control and management involving the formulation, execution, and/or analysis of the organization's budget and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Serves as a functional point of contact for day-to- day budget/financial issues.
• Perform budget formulations work involving review and preparation of budget estimates and financial plans.
• Perform budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures.

• Provides advise, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information and conducts analyses, review and special studies of budget and/related information.
• Use budgetary and other automated systems and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting/funding assignments.
