Job description

Savvee Consulting Inc. is seeking to hire a Budget Analyst to support our federal Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) client located in Quantico, VA. Candidates in consideration for this position must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Top Secret clearance, have experience in budgeting and financial analysis, along with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Essential Functions

• Supporting the Department of Navy IT procurement budget, planning, and execution
• Participating in the annual budget formulation process and congressional submissions
• Tracking spend plans and IT expenditures
• Updating financial management trackers
• Supporting financial management reviews and financial data calls
• Composing IT procurement packages and invoices using Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
• Supporting hardware and software maintenance renewals
• Liaising with various teams including, Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture, Capital Planning Investment Control (CPIC), and Comptroller
• Liaison with the IT asset management team for new procurements
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for the accuracy of solutions and deliverables to client
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support

Position Requirements

Education & Training

• Bachelor's degree
• Must have an ACTIVE DoD Top Secret clearance

Minimum Experience & Skills

• Three or more years of budget execution and formulation experience
• PBIS IT and POM experience
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven self-starter

Desired But Not Required Qualifications

• Navy ERP experience
• Knowledge of IT hardware and software
