US Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, Tulsa District, is seeking a Chief of Business Management to oversee the division's operating budget and staff. Key Duties:
One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Managing financial matters relating to overall program planning, funding management, and reporting requirements; 2. interpreting budget guidance while maintaining the forecast of expenditures and obligations for projects to ensure the adequacy of project funding; and 3. measuring program effectiveness, and productivity/efficiency to ensure attainment of goals and objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Conditions of employment:
This position requires Financial Management (FM) certification IAW DoDI 1300.26, Operation of the DoD Financial Mgmnt Certification Program Level 1 required to obtain within 2 years of appointment
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Business Travel up to 10%.
