DCS Corporation seeks a skilled Budget Analyst to join their program office in Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP and GFEBS experience, managing intricate budget cycles and financial data. This role requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to hold a DoD Secret clearance.
DCS is seeking a skilled Budget Analyst with solid Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) experience to join our fast-paced program office. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the budget and financial cycles for a variety of programs. The ideal candidate is an energetic, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides general knowledge and "hands on" experience using the Army’s General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and the Army's Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) software/databases or equivalent EnterpriseResource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.
Provides assistance in analyzing and resolving issues related to Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) Financials and Asset Management, and GFEBS transaction codes.
Provides assistance in resolving SAP IDOC errors for various financial and supply chain interfaces which includes Government Purchase Cards, Defense Travel System, Purchase Requisition, and Purchase Orders.
Resolves unmatched transactions and ULOs.
Provides analysis of civilian payroll postings and facilitates corrections of erroneous budget postings.
Provides assistance and support for Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives.
Prepares Work Breakdown Structure, sales orders, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests.
Evaluates and resolves DCPS and ATAAPS errors upon the completion of GFEBS payroll execution each pay period.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelors and 5 years of experience.
This position requires the candidate to possess and maintain a DoD Secret personnel security clearance.
Highly proficient in the use of theGFEBS and the Army's LMP software.
Proactive, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
