Job summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Budget Analysis Analyst to support a federal government client in the Washington, DC area.

This on-site role involves interpreting budget guidance, maintaining records, and delivering timely analysis and reporting to inform program oversight and funding decisions.

The position requires a BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, 3+ years of relevant experience, and eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supporting budget or financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with financial systems or databases.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

  • Support budget activities related to shared services and coordination requirements as needed.

Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Budget Analysis, Analyst to support a federal government client in the Washington, DC area.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on client and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Effective briefing and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret federal budget guidance and reference materials.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as the CGFM.
Education

BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.

Clearance

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and be able to upgrade to a Top Secret (TS) clearance as required.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $85,000 - $95,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
