Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Business Unit Director to lead a key customer segment within the Cable Backplane Business Unit in Nashua, NH. You will direct a matrixed team spanning engineering, product, marketing, and operations to deliver world-class customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience with customer-facing responsibilities.
• Industry knowledge of Telecom/Datacom market segments.
• Ability to communicate across cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, operations, market development, and finance.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Analytical problem-solving with a bias for action.
• Ability to inspire cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a matrixed team to meet customer needs and influence roadmaps.
• Own P&L for a specific customer; drive cost improvements and pricing.
• Collaborate with Product Management to deliver solutions.
• Work with engineering and operations for execution of customer projects.
• Ensure issues are resolved with high customer satisfaction.
• Define and execute the customer-specific strategic roadmap.
• Maintain end-to-end customer relationship and front-end support.
• Establish KPIs to drive performance across departments.
• Cultivate customer-first mindset with key customers and partners.
• Champion cross-functional launches aligned with customer needs.
• Coordinate with broader groups to expand opportunities.
