Job summary

Jobtailor in Tennessee seeks a senior Finance leader to lead the newly formed Dance finance team, shaping strategy and integration of acquired businesses.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and KPI development, and partner with cross-functional leaders to drive financial performance and GAAP compliance.

MBA/CMA/CPA preferred; ERP experience a plus; must communicate effectively and mentor a growing team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Finance or Accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
• Experience leading people and teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

• Knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead, engage, and motivate the newly-formed Dance finance team.
• Partner with Dance business unit leaders and cross-functional partners to integrate newly acquired dance businesses.
• Harmonize the Dance go-to-market strategy with KPIs to measure and drive outcomes.
• Establish and implement accounting controls, account reconciliations, and systematic review processes.
• Support due diligence for potential acquisitions and integration of completed acquisitions.
• Improve the dance budgeting and planning methodology.
• Review planned capacity, registration, pricing, and cost of sales to inform business decisions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting for training and event offerings with FP&A.
• Develop performance scorecards and standardize KPIs.
• Own a clean and timely monthly financial close process, including audit support.
• Evaluate and approve key contracts and commercial proposals.
• Improve deposit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and Net Working Capital performance.
• Drive adoption of technology to analyze data and provide insights for sales and operations leadership.

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone
• Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary
