Job summary

Hope Autism Clinic in Cordova, TN seeks a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician to provide ABA-based therapy to children aged 2–8. You will work with families to discuss progress, track data, and support individualized learning goals in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

We offer morning and afternoon shifts with full-time and part-time opportunities. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a successful background check; RBT credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from BACB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using ABA principles.
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about progress.
• Track session data with the treatment team to meet goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

Hourly Rate: $16-$18

Consistent scheduling & daytime hours. Morning and Afternoon shifts available. Full time and part time opportunities available.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
• Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.

WHAT WE PREFER:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Enthusiasm for working with children.
• Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
