Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. The undergraduate field experience is the cornerstone of the BSW curriculum and is considered to the ¿signature pedagogy¿ for social work by CSWE. It engages the BSW student in supervised social work practice and provides opportunities to apply classroom learning in the field setting. The BSW Field Coordinator coordinates the undergraduate field program.

The BSW Field Coordinator exercises responsibility for the administration of the field experience program, ensuring planned cooperation and coordination between the BSW program and the agencies approved for the field placement of undergraduate students. Job responsibilities include:
