BSP Software Engineer (Kernel/QNX) in Portland, OR, is a 1-year on-site contract. You will design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain kernel and QNX software for next-generation In-Flight Entertainment seat boxes, collaborating with hardware, Android, and validation teams from bootloader to driver layers.

Responsibilities include high-quality embedded C/C++, Python scripting, performance optimization to hit KPIs, and extensive testing; participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and DevOps

Qualifications

• 10+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience with infotainment systems based on Qualcomm SoCs and QNX Hypervisor.
• Strong C/C++ and Python scripting skills; familiarity with TCP/IP and HTTP/HTTPS.

Responsabilités

• Linux kernel and device driver development, debugging and testing.
• Board bring-up and hardware bring-up tasks.
• Optimize system performance and memory usage; ensure software reliability.
• Collaborate in Agile/DevOps environment; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Engage in code reviews and participate in all phases of the SDLC.
