Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking a BSO PPBE Functional Lead to support a DoD/Navy financial management transformation. You will lead a cross-functional team implementing an enterprise OneStream-based budget formulation capability across multiple Navy Budget Submitting Offices.

The role requires at least 7 years in federal financial management, strong analysis and facilitation skills, and the ability to work onsite in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC, with an active U.S. secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of federal financial management, budget, or PPBE experience.
• Demonstrated requirements and business-process analysis experience.
• Strong client facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to work across financial and technical teams.
• Ability to be onsite 2-3 days a week in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BSO UAT and deployment readiness.
• Support training and transition activities.
• Communicate risks, decisions, dependencies, and requirements to the enterprise team.

The ideal candidate will work within a cross-functional Kearney-led team implementing an enterprise OneStream-based budget formulation capability across multiple Navy Budget Submitting Offices.

Job Duties Include but Are Not Limited To

The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
