Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is seeking a BSN‑prepared Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care in a dynamic unit. You will assess patients, identify care needs, and coordinate with families and the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment and discharge planning.

Applicants should hold an IL RN license and a BSN, with BLS certification. ADN with BSN commitment within three years is acceptable.

Qualifications

• BSN required and IL RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Commitment to obtain BSN within three years if ADN currently held.

Responsibilities

• Performs a comprehensive assessment on all assigned patients.
• Communicates changes in patient's condition promptly.
• Documents realistic goals and updates care plans accordingly.
• Collaborates with patient, family and health team for discharge planning.
• Ensures discharge instructions and medication reconciliation are complete.
