Qualifications

• Minimum PhD, DNP or DHS required.
• At least 5 years in academic and relevant clinical practice.
• At least 5 years of teaching at the college/university level.
• Commitment to undergraduate, graduate and professional education and student success.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Record of scholarly activities.
• Evidence of teaching excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee teaching and learning for the Boston Campus in collaboration with the Dean.
• Mentor students and contribute to visibility and reputation through research and scholarship.
• Recruit, interview, and recommend core/faculty and staff.
• Develop annual teaching workload plan for the designated campus.
• Collaborate on accreditation reports for undergraduate programs.
• Draft and submit Board of Nursing annual reports.
• Lead governance committees and participate in university-wide committees.
• Assist in SON budget preparation and administration.
• Support implementation of the SON Strategic Plan.
