Job summary

Pepperdine University’s College of Health Science seeks an Admission Counselor for the School of Nursing. This 6-month, in-person position supports BSN and ELM programs, engaging prospective students, advising, and processing transcripts.

The role collaborates with enrollment teams, uses Slate and NursingCAS, and aligns with Pepperdine’s mission. Located on the Calabasas campus, the counselor contributes to recruitment events, manages admission records, and participates in shaping enrollment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication and customer service.
• Strong ability to plan and organize short and long-term tasks.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the admission process for the BSN and ELM programs.
• Assist in recruiting BSN students (4-year and transfer).
• Engage in application review and initial decisions for BSN.
• Serve as primary contact for BSN prospects via calls, email, in-person.
