Job summary

Eck Services, now part of TurnPoint Services, seeks a Safety & Compliance Specialist to develop and implement safety programs across Wichita and surrounding areas. You will partner with HR, field managers, and leadership to drive policy, training, and risk management, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.

Responsibilities include delivering weekly safety trainings, conducting risk assessments, and producing regular reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• OHSA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is required or preferred.
• Driver's License required to operate company vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for training and collaboration.

Role Overview

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and revise policies that drive safety for field and support staff
• Engage with HR and Training & Development stakeholders to create a safety program for new employees
• Collaborate with Field Managers and other stakeholders to create a well-rounded safety program
• Advise Managers and Senior Leadership on gaps and opportunities with safety
• Provide training on a weekly basis to departments
• Conduct risk assessments through observations and audits completed weekly
• Enforce safety through feedback, training, and accountability
• Submits recommendations for improvements and additions to the Senior Leadership and other stakeholders including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, general safety, and risk management.
• Stops operations and activities that could harm staff or equipment.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports on safety opportunities and accidents
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules
• Stay current with industry standards and continuously develop personal skills
• Collaborate with department leads to align safety expectations with company goals
• Monitor MVRs
• Maintain all required paperwork and reports
