Job summary

Balderston Auto Group is seeking an automotive technician to join our high-energy service team. You will perform routine and complex diagnostic, electrical, and engine repairs, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency on repair orders.

Our shop emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You will document work, communicate clearly with the Parts Department and Service Advisor, and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn new technology and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders following dealership and factory standards.
• Drain oil and refill with required amount; replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect fluid levels and replace as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and add air as needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep the shop area neat and clean.
• Maintain accountability for dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform repairs per repair orders and warranty specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Inform Service Advisor of additional services needed and provide time estimates.
