Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language; bilingual helpful.
• Three (3) years' experience in banking or related field and one (1) year of training/education or equivalent knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years at Alliance Bank preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to respond to employees’ requests with tact, diplomacy, and urgency.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks within a time frame and adapt to changes.
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to organize, schedule, and prioritize tasks and departmental functions.
• Ability to write proper business correspondence and create spreadsheets and presentations.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment and PC with job-related software.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and Alliance Bank’s policies and services.

Responsibilities

• Actively sell and cross-sell bank services.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service.
• Assist BSA Officer with Bank Secrecy Act functions including CTR filing.
• Review documentation for policy compliance and BSA Regulation requirements.
• Review CIF information including missing occupations and NAICS codes.
• Review logs and documentation to ensure BSA recordkeeping compliance.
• Update OFAC sanctions lists on the core system and compare against lists.
• Review potential matches from OFAC programs.
• Bi-weekly upload and run of FinCEN 314(a) list against customer records.
• Review and assist with working alerts.
• Answer questions from bank employees about BSA matters.
• Daily mail delivery and retrieval for the building.
• Order supplies for the building.
• Attend periodic training seminars and peer meetings.
• Keep updated on Alliance Bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
