Job summary

Ascendo Resources is seeking a detail-oriented BSA Analyst to support day-to-day Bank Secrecy Act and AML compliance activities. The role focuses on monitoring high-risk customers, reviewing documentation, investigating alerts, and maintaining accurate records in a regulatory environment.

You will work with compliance systems, perform due diligence, support regulatory reporting, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure ongoing adherence to BSA/AML requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in BSA/AML or related banking functions.
• Experience with FCRM or similar monitoring software.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML, KYC, CIP, CDD, EDD, SAR, CTR, OFAC.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review high-risk customer accounts including MSBs.
• Conduct risk assessments and EDD reviews for high-risk customers.
• Review onboarding docs for CIP and account-opening requirements.
• Maintain high-risk files and ensure documentation is current.
• Investigate and disposition AML alerts from the monitoring platform.
• Prepare and file SARs and process 314(a)/(b) requests.
• Review OFAC screening alerts and CTR activity.
• Assist audits and regulatory examinations.
