Job summary

SouthEast Bank is seeking a BSA Analyst to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and AML policies. The role covers CTRs, SARs, CIP, CDD, OFAC, and related regulatory requirements in a banking environment.

You will assist with alert work, perform enhanced due diligence, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with regulations. Daily duties include monitoring for OFAC matches, compiling narratives, and supporting reporting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with BSA/OFAC/Fraud function, or equivalent banking experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with alert workload and monitor suspicious patterns; escalate to SAR filing as needed.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews and gather documents for narratives and risk assessment.
• Perform 90-day SAR follow-ups and assist in SAR filing decisions.
• Participate in ongoing BSA/AML and OFAC training to maintain regulatory knowledge.
• Monitor daily wire notifications for OFAC matches and perform required searches for new hires.
• Assist in preparation and submission of Currency Transaction Reports within deadlines.
• Coordinate information requests related to 314(a)/314(b) responsibilities.
• Ensure adherence to CIP, CDD/EDD/BO, OFAC, and record keeping requirements.
