Job summary

FIRST COMMUNITY BANK seeks a BSA Analyst to monitor bank activity and ensure compliance with CTRs, SAMs, Exemptions, and SARs. The position is onsite with no remote work.

The role includes daily CTR reviews, CTR totals, SAR processing, and AML monitoring across the bank. You will assist with due diligence on high‑risk accounts and participate in audits, training, and related reporting. Strong attention to detail and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of experience in bank operations and/or loans.
• At least three (3) years of experience in Bank Secrecy Act regulatory requirements with emphasis on compliance.

Responsibilities

• CTR - daily review of reports to ensure CTRs filed within 15 days.
• Review daily cash reports for CTRs and CTR acknowledgements.
• Prepare CTR monthly totals and track patterns.
• Process all Unusual Activity Reports within required timelines.
• Assist with SARs within 30 days of committee recommendation.
• Assist AML monitoring through review of system reports.
• Review BSA cases in the AML program.
• Assist with due diligence on high‑risk customers/accounts.
• Assist with CTR training for new hires and annual refreshers.
• Maintain Customer CTR database.
• Complete related reports and participate in audits/examinations as needed.
