Job summary

AutoPayPlus is seeking a seasoned BSA Officer to lead the bank secrecy act, AML and sanctions compliance program in a fully onsite Orlando role. You will own the program, manage risk assessments, and serve as primary contact for sponsor bank partners and audits.

The ideal candidate has direct BSA/AML leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with executives and the Board. A CAMS/CAFP certification and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CAFP (Certified AML and Fraud Professional) certification required at hire and maintained throughout employment.
• At least 5 years of BSA/AML compliance experience in payments, money services, fintech, consumer finance, or banking.
• At least 3 years serving as a designated BSA/AML Officer or leading a BSA/AML program.
• Experience writing, implementing, and remediating CIP, CDD, beneficial ownership, EDD, OFAC, and SAR procedures.
• Direct experience with sponsor bank oversight reviews, independent BSA/AML audits, or regulatory examinations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BSA/AML program ownership and OFAC compliance.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, internal controls and documentation.
• Lead risk assessments and present results to the Board.
• Manage sanctions screening and trigger escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with sponsor banks, auditors, and regulators; ensure deadlines are met.
