Job summary

AutoPayPlus in Orlando is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to lead BSA/AML and sanctions programs. You will oversee policy design, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting, while guiding a small team and serving as primary compliance contact for sponsor bank partners.

Reporting to the EOS Integrator, CFO, and COO, you will collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Finance to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and training.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BSA/AML compliance experience in payments, fintech, consumer finance, or banking.
• 3+ years as a designated BSA/AML Officer or leading a BSA/AML program.
• Hands-on experience developing and remediating CIP, CDD, OFAC, SAR policies and procedures.
• Direct experience managing sponsor bank oversight reviews or regulatory examinations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leadership and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Serve as designated BSA/AML Officer overseeing the design, administration, and effectiveness of the BSA/AML/OFAC program.
• Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and the Compliance Management System.
• Conduct annual enterprise BSA/AML and sanctions risk assessments and present findings to the Board.
• Provide regular reporting to executive leadership and the Board on compliance activities and remediation progress.
• Oversee CIP, CDD, beneficial ownership, and enhanced due diligence requirements.
• Lead sponsor bank relationships, audits, and regulator examinations.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Junior Compliance Officer and Compliance Coordinator.
