Job summary

Inspira Education Group is seeking a BS/MD Admissions Consultant to mentor high-achieving students through BS/MD and pre-med applications. This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role, eligible nationwide in the United States or Canada.

You'll guide students on school selection, essay development, resumes, recommendations, timelines, and interview prep, while helping them build standout profiles and maintain an authentic voice. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Experience mentoring high school students or college applicants.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide BS/MD and direct medical program applicants through admissions processes, including school selection, strategy, essays, resumes, recommendations, timelines and interviews.
• Help students strengthen academics and extracurricular profiles and develop compelling application materials.
• Support students in researching best-fit BS/MD and pre-med programs aligned with goals.
• Provide feedback on personal statements, supplemental essays, and interview preparation while keeping an authentic voice.
• Assist with project planning, timeline management and progress tracking using internal tools.
• Stay updated on BS/MD and undergraduate admissions trends to offer timely guidance.

The Role

We are seeking a BS/MD Admissions Consultant with prior admissions committee experience and a strong understanding of the BS/MD, direct medical, and competitive undergraduate admissions process. This role is ideal for physicians who are passionate about mentorship, education, and helping high-achieving students navigate BS/MD applications.

This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Prior admissions committee experience at the undergraduate or medical school level
• Experience mentoring high school students, particularly in academic advising or college application support
• Familiarity with BS/MD, direct medical, and pre-med admissions processes, including school selection, application strategy, and interview preparation
• Proven success guiding students through competitive undergraduate admissions
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple students and timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
