Checon, LLC, a division of Alloy Holdings, is hiring reliable individuals to join our manufacturing team in Glens Falls, NY. This entry-level role involves setting up brushing equipment, loading materials, and monitoring finishes.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off, paid on-the-job training, and a competitive starting pay of $20.00–$21.00 per hour based on experience. Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required; training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brushing equipment.
• Load and process metal materials.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve required finishes.
• Monitor product quality and inspect finished materials.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Perform basic machine adjustments, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Record production information and maintain work orders.
• Safely move materials using cranes, hoists, or forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
