Job summary

Carlex Glass America, LLC is seeking team members at its Ligonier, IN fabrication facility to support high-volume production. The role involves following detailed work instructions, performing quality checks, and contributing to a safe, efficient manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts M-F.
• Available to workdays or nights and overtime.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow work instructions and control plans.
• Assist with other key tasks during changeovers.
• Do quality checks and input data into the Quality System to keep the process nominal.
• Maintain an organized clean work environment 5S.
• Understanding trends on reliability and yield.
• Perform other departmental job duties when directed by supervision.

• $18.25/HR to start/$18.75 after 6 months/$19.70 after 1 year

KEY TASKS

• Understand and follow work instructions and control plans
• Assist with other key tasks during changeovers.
• Do quality checks and input data into the Quality System to keep the process nominal, input GMaP’s data when required
• Maintain an organized clean work environment 5S
• Understanding trends on reliability and yield.
• Perform other departmental job duties when directed by supervision.
• Understands required PPE, location and purpose of all lockouts and e-stops
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment keeping the process running
