Job summary

Coleman Company, Inc. in Savannah, GA, is expanding with a Brunswick office and seeks a Civil Project Manager / Engineer to lead land development from concept to construction while also designing the projects.

The role requires 5–8 years in land development, a PE license (GA/SC preferred or obtainable soon), and strong communication to manage clients and teams. Expect coastal Georgia permitting experience and leadership growth as the Brunswick team grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license in GA or SC or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5-8 years of land development design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for roadway design, grading, and utilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Desire and ability to mentor junior staff members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple land development projects from concept through construction completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Participate in business development including proposals and client presentations.
• Produce civil designs: grading, stormwater, utilities, roadway infrastructure.
• Provide technical direction and QA/QC on work produced by others.
• Lead permitting with local authorities and state agencies.
