Job summary

A local breakfast and brunch boutique is looking for a busser/runner to facilitate collaboration between kitchen and wait staff. Responsibilities include setting tables, assisting the wait staff, and ensuring cleanliness. Candidates should have restaurant experience, understand hygiene rules, and be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications

• Must be available to work morning shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
• Experience in a restaurant environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set tables according to restaurant standards.
• Bring clean dishes from BOH to FOH.
• Assist the wait staff with table setting.
• Check in with customers and take additional orders.
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils.
• Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback.

Skills

Experience as a Busser or similar entry-level role in a restaurant

Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules

Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours

Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Multi-tasking abilities

Awareness of restaurant surroundings

Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment

Degree in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus
