Job summary

Sabio On Main is seeking a brunch server to join our upscale team in Pleasanton, CA. The role requires Saturday and Sunday morning shifts, including holiday weekends, and focuses on creating exceptional customer experiences through food and wine service.

You will take and serve orders, resolve guest issues, and work closely with the kitchen and fellow staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. Training and development are provided, and compensation is experience-based with benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience, 3 - 5 years serving experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Table Service including -- taking food orders, facilitating wine service (decanting, etc.), anticipate needs of guest.
• Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
• Communicate customer orders to kitchen staff
• Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner
• Work as a team with fellow service staff to ensure a positive experience for our guests

You will be helping to create exceptional experiences for our customers during their dining experience with us by taking and serving food and drink orders and resolving customer issues.
