Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, seeks a bartender to deliver personalized guest experiences while maintaining the bar and service area. You will greet guests, craft drinks to spec, manage orders in the POS, and support servers to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of bartending experience, broad wine and spirits knowledge, and strong cash handling skills. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years bartending experience preferred.
• Passion for crafting personalized guest experiences.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of credit card and cash handling procedures; accurate tip-out sheets.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications where applicable.
• Flexible evenings, weekends and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, promptly serve food and beverages.
• Pour drinks to specification, process orders in POS with accuracy.
• Serve food and drinks and assist servers as needed.
• Notify a manager if a guest is intoxicated or rude.
• Unpack deliveries and stock the bar; maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Follow uniform and grooming specifications and cooperate with team.
